In this episode of Ek Duniya Ek Awaaz, we are talking about the killing of unborn girls, or "Female Foeticide", an alarming and frightening reality. Our expert, Dr. Ranjana Kumari, Director, Centre for Social Research, Delhi, India, talks about the campaign named "Meri Shakti, Meri Beti", running by Centre for Social Research. She stressed on the objectives of this campaign and its need to society. We need to change our mindset about girls, respect them and do celebrate on the born of a girl child. She also urges about different responsible reasons for this shameless act "Female Foeticide" and how different campaigns, activities and projects of Centre for Social Reasearch brings awareness among different communities and society and seeking a positive result.

Our expert, Nandita Das, Film Actress and Social Activist, talks about social and family pressures as a violence which are increasing rapidly on women. It includes people different opinions about the safety issues and violence against women. They mainly stressed on changing our mind and society norms and think positively about women. There are so many theatre groups, filmmakers, writers and peole who are working actively to stop this violence.
