Children's Day (14th November) in India is celebrated on Pandit Nehru's birthday as a day of fun and frolic, a celebration of childhood, children and Nehruji's love for them and Nehru's regular  struggle for the golden future of every child by providing them Good Education, health facilities, and moreover to lead the country

This radio programme speaks about Chanderi. A small village in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India where most of the people are weavers and is known for its saris.

 
The history dates back to the reign of King Kriti Pal of Chanderi who was the ruler then. One night in his dream Maa Jageshwari told him to build a temple and told him not to open the temple doors for nine days. King Kriti Pal could not stop himself and he opened the gates on the third day and found out that Maa Jageshwari was erupting from the ground and only her head had come out then.

इस कार्यक्रम में चन्देरी के कुछ महत्वपूर्ण स्थलों की जानकारी दी गई है ऊनके ईतिहास के बारे में बताया गया है।

चन्देरी एक प्रचीन नगर है। चन्देरी की स्थापन राजा मौर्य दत ने की थी। राजा मौर्य के वाद चन्द्र वशु ने इसे सम्भाला चन्द्र वशु देवइन्द्र के मित्र थे। देवइन्द्र के वाद शिशु पाल ने इसे सम्भाला शिशु पाल पाडवो के सकलिन थे। इसका सवन्ध हिन्दु धर्म ग्रथ महाभारत मे मिलते है। इसी प्रकार चन्देरी नगर की स्थापना हुई थी। चन्देरी की कहानी वहुत ही रोमाचक है।

गणतन्त्र दिवश 26 जनवरी 1950 को हमारा सविधान लागू हुआ था हमारे सविधान को वनाने मे 2 साल 11 माह 18 दिन का समय लगा था। सविधान को वनाने के लिए हमारे नेताओ ने काफि मेहनत की थी और इसमे हमे विशेष अधिकार तथा कानून भी वनाए गए थे ताकि जो हमारे अधिकार है उनका हनन न हो सके।

हम अपने रेड़ियो कार्यक्रम में बच्चों के मनोरजंन के लिए कार्यक्रम बनाते रहते हैं । तो इस कार्यक्रम में भी बच्चों की भागेदारी से हमने यह कार्यक्रम बनाया है । उसमे हमने चन्देरी के विषय में छोटी सी चर्चा की है । यह चर्चा हमने प्रशनोतरी के माध्यम से की है ।
