Sunno Theke Suru Ep- 13 (Bangala)

In this programme an idea of "Quadrilateral" was given through a drama, in which a father was running with his son in a rectangular park and giving him an idea about the shape of the rectangle and how to calculate the perimeter. In the second segment Laddu explained about the different shapes of quadrilateral. Then a puzzle was solved.

This episode is about "Triangle".A drama is played with the famous characters from the movie 'Three Idiots' where Rancho is telling his friends about triangle. Then a song was sung to describe the different types of triangle.

This episode is about  the "Bodmas" system. Pie explained the Bodmas process. Finally a puzzle was solved by Laddu and Pie.

This episode is based on Metric system. A play has been done by a cartoon character Shinchan, where he got the idea of gram, kilogram. He learnt this from a shopkeeper when he came to him to buy biscuits. Special character Pie explained us the procedure of Metric System after that. At the end of  the episode Laddu and Pie solved a puzzles.

This episode is based on an idea about fraction. In the first part, a drama of two group of ants talking about a contract of eating and storing chococubes and  discussing how much they need chococubes to meet their target. In the second part Pie give us an idea about the drama on fraction. In the final part Laddu and Pie solving a puzzle.

In this episode two characters named Laddu and Pie were discussing about number system. After that a famous bengali song on Number system was sung. At the end laddu and Pie asked a puzzle.

This programme is based on implementation of x, y, z which was discussed through a drama on famous bengali detective character 'Pheluda' made by Satyajit Ray. In the drama pheluda's assistant cum brother 'Topse' told him an algebric equation which was told by an unknown caller who was asking for pheluda. Pheluda solved this equation and find the person's name. In the second part a puzzle asked and solved by two character named Laddu and Pie.

This programme is based on square root which was taught in two parts. In the first part three children went to wonder land where they played a game. In that game they give money and get chocolates in square form of that money. In the second part a character named Laddu explained the method of square root. And in the last part two characters named laddu and pie asked a puzzle and solved.

Radio JU

<p>To give voice to the voiceless. To provide education to school dropouts. To increase awareness about health and hygiene. To entertain and educate through songs and drama.</p>

<p>Jadavpur University, Kolkata, on the day of the Bengali New year (14th April, 2008)launched West Bengal&rsquo;s first community radio station, RadioJU 90.8 MHz.&nbsp;</p>

Content is yet to be updated by the station.

<p>Signature Programme: SishuTirtho,Alochona, Health Care,Sanskriti, Kolkata Kolkata, Khaikhai, Musical Hour, AinerChokhe, Natya Company, Sahoj Path, SrutinatokerAsor, Mukhomukhi, Cholo Let&rsquo;s Go. Community Participation: We choose the programming content after a discussion with common people. Theywrite the content based on the problems faced by them in their day to day life. Innovations in Format: Docu-features, drama, feature, experience of the child reporter, mix format etc.</p>

<p>Funding and Partnerships Right from the beginning, JU is providing everything to set up and run the station. The university has created a fund for recurring expenses of the radio. We are also trying to collect advertisements from local businessmen and shopkeepers. We also want to register ourselves under DAVP.</p>

<p>We find nowadays children are not fond of reading story books,so we started Sishu Tirtho, a programme on children&rsquo;s literature, which gets great interest from kids and teenagers who find these stories so fascinating that they skip their sportsto listen to Sishu Tirtho.</p> <p>Similarly, the story of a disabled girl is touching. Since she used wheelchair from her childhood, she was very much neglected by her relatives and schoolmates. After penning and broadcasting a poem, she got positive response from relatives and schoolmates.</p>
