Ensuring safety of children during disasters

Natural calamities mainly affect the poor community due to their unsafe infrastructure and poor living. Lower economic people rear animal with their campus for better livelihood. But at the calamity attack they lose their infrastructure and share their living rooms with children and animals which become more dangerous for children. In order to save the children from this hazardous situation proper child care and management with animals should be communicated to the community as advance information and knowledge. Secondly due to unavailability of fodder and other food items the milk production comes down and it directly affects the nutrition security of the children so the knowledge on food stock and proper animal management provided in advance may prepare the community to face such type of problems.
