Population and pollution walks hand in hand in Nepal (Nepali)
It is seen that population and pollution is growing side by side in Nepal. In recent years in the pretext of development there has been increase in the pollution level there. Nepal has seen a significant growth in the automobile industry, and chemical industry which are the main causes of pollution.
People of Nepal have already started facing the consequences in the form of rapidly growing ill health of its people there. NGOs have been little successful in creating awareness using less pollution devices in our day to day life. In this programme it is also discussed that the government has already started commissioning electric and gas public transport vehicles and would be slowly phasing out cars and taxis using petrol and diesel in the near future.
