Gender-Sensitive Indicators for Media: Framework of Indicators to Gauge Gender Sensitivity in Media Operations and Content

The main objective of the Gender-Sensitive Indicators for Media is to contribute to gender parity and women’s empowerment in and through media of all forms like newspaper, radio, television and other new technologies. It is known that media are transmitters of culture and has been framed as social actors with the power to give impetus to social development. The main focus of the publication is on the equality and gender dimensions of social diversity in the media.
