World Radio Day Special
15 February 2012 Here are the views of radio broadcasters, policy makers, programme producers and academics from the South Asian Region on the first-ever World Radio Day.
This day, founded by the UNESCO General Assembly, celebrates radio as a medium to improve international cooperation among radio broadcasters and encourage decision-makers to provide information access through radio, including through community radio.
