In this episode of Ek Duniya Ek Awaaz, we are celebrating the composite culture of India. The highlight of the programme is an interview with famous Sufi singer Kailash Kher in which he shares his views on music and how it helps in binding the country of such diversity together.
Seldom does one find in one country such diversities as in India. People of different faiths, languages, cultures, lifestyles and ethnicities live together as one whole. Different kinds of festivals that are celebrated add to the mosaic that India offers – be it Diwali, Holi, Eid, Baisakhi, Pongal, Onam, Christmas and many others. These may have been associated with one particular religion but people from other faiths also participate in them.
