Edaa partnerships are centred around basic principles of equity, credibility, joint initiatives for learning and sharing, as well as transparency, inclusiveness and accountability.

Edaa partners are bound by a common vision of amplifying people's voices and assimilating, validating and enhancing local knowledge for development and rights.

Partners can upload their own programmes thereby increasing outreach and dissemination to a much wider audience. The result is a bank of issue-based audio content created by people, for people.

The Edaa platform also offers a space for people to listen to, download, re-use and adapt programmes of relevance (see IPR policy). In addition, Edaa provides access to a variety of resources including books, manuals, web resource links, radio networks, and discussion groups relating to Community Radio.
